Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Ai Quattro Angeli? The name literally means “Four Angels” in Italian, which feels oddly perfect for this little gem tucked away on Opatovická Street. I mean, you’re basically in the heart of Nové Město (New Town for the non-Czech speakers), but it doesn’t feel touristy at all – more like you’ve stumbled into a neighborhood secret that happens to have really comfortable beds.
The location is honestly brilliant if you know Prague at all. You’re a quick walk from Národní Street where all the good trams run, and I actually prefer this spot to staying right in Old Town because you can grab coffee at normal Czech prices instead of tourist markup. There’s this fantastic little pivnice (beer hall) called U Fleku just around the corner that’s been brewing since 1499 – seriously, 1499 – and locals still drink there. The hotel itself sits in one of those gorgeous renovated buildings that Prague does so well, where they’ve kept all the character (think high ceilings and original details) but actually updated the plumbing and heating. Thank god, because some of these historic places can be… well, let’s just say authentically uncomfortable.
What really sells me on this place is how the staff seems to actually care about Prague, not just about processing tourists. When I asked about getting to Petřin Hill for sunset, the front desk guy drew me a little map showing the back way up through the gardens instead of just pointing toward the funicular with everyone else. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – clean, comfortable, good WiFi – but they’ve got these touches that feel thoughtful rather than fancy. The windows are properly soundproofed too, which matters more than you’d think since Opatovická can get lively on weekend nights. Actually, that’s part of the charm – you’re close enough to hear the city living its life, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with drunk British stag parties stumbling past at 3 AM. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and they store luggage without making it feel like a huge favor. The breakfast situation is… well, it’s continental breakfast, but they do proper Czech pastries and the coffee doesn’t taste like it was made yesterday. That 8.6 rating makes complete sense to me – it’s not trying to be the Four Seasons, but it nails exactly what it is trying to be. If you want to feel like you’re staying in Prague rather than just visiting it, and you don’t need a concierge or marble bathroom, this is your spot.

location, very clean apartment, and friendly staff. However, Wi-Fi was weak, especially in the bedroom, and it could ge – Saida from Azerbaijan – 15 July 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was very clean, the location was perfect, and the staff were extremely friendly.
What could be improved: The only downsides were the very weak Wi-Fi — it was almost nonexistent, especially in the bedroom where there was no signal at all. Also, there seemed to be a club nearby, and during the night it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep because of the noise and shouting from outside.Great for our short trip – Cali from United Kingdom – 12 June 2025 (10/10)

Good sizeTasteful, comfy, clean and exceptional stay at Ai Quattro Angeli – Alessandra from United Kingdom – 6 June 2025 (10/10)
The accommodation was fantastic, spacious, comfy, clean. There was absolutely everything that one could need in the apartment, which was very beautifully and tastefully furnished, by the way. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful. He went out of his ways to arrange a taxi for us from the airport to the apartment and allowed us to stay some additional hours on the departure day due to our flight back home being late at night. Thank you for such a great stay, grazie Francesco!

Exceptional – Nikola from Bulgaria – 12 April 2025 (10/10)
Great place! Clean and well equipped!
Superb – Beata from Slovakia – 20 March 2025 (9/10)
The location is perfect. Everything is very close, even with a small child in walking distance. The bed was comfortable, rooms clean, the water clean and perfectly drinkable. There is parking in the yard. The manager very kindly allowed a later leave with the car. Thank you!
What could be improved: The driweway into the yard is very narrow. With a bigger car impossible. With Hyundai i30 it was like 10cm on each side, but it is old town, so no one should be surprised.
The bathroom was a bit older, needs a bit of a renovation.
There were very few tv stations, or in different languages (Italian).Exceptional – Perpetua from France – 28 February 2025 (10/10)
The place was very clean. The location is accessible and near the Old Town.
What could be improved: The WiFi is poor.
