Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Agnes – Apartments on Anežská Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Prague’s Old Town. The building sits right in the thick of things — I mean, you’re literally steps from the Jewish Quarter and a short stroll to Old Town Square. What struck me first was how this four-star property manages to feel both historic and thoroughly modern, tucked into one of those narrow cobblestone streets that make Prague so enchanting.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable. You’re in the real heart of Prague, and I can see why couples rate it so highly — there’s something undeniably romantic about being able to wander out your door and find yourself among medieval streets and centuries-old synagogues. The Spanish Synagogue is practically around the corner, and you can easily walk to Charles Bridge or Wenceslas Square without breaking a sweat. What’s even better is that despite being so central, the street itself doesn’t feel overwhelmingly touristy — it’s got that authentic Prague neighborhood vibe during the quieter morning and evening hours.

The Apartment Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with kitchenettes and separate living areas, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. The spaces feel thoughtfully designed, with clean lines and that refined European aesthetic you’d hope for in a place like this. I particularly appreciated having a proper coffee setup in the morning rather than those tiny hotel packets. The apartments vary in size, but even the smaller ones don’t feel cramped — there’s something about the layout that maximizes the space really well.

Practical Perks

Here’s something you don’t often find in central Prague — they actually have private parking available. If you’re driving in (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always the easiest in Prague’s historic center), this is a genuine lifesaver. The staff knows the area inside and out, and they’re the kind of people who’ll give you actual useful recommendations rather than just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. You know what I mean — they’ll tell you which café has the best goulash or when to visit the astronomical clock to avoid the crowds.

Why Guests Love It

The combination of that prime location and the apartment-style setup really works for people who want to experience Prague like a local rather than just passing through. Couples especially seem to love it here — and I get it, because there’s something about having your own little Prague pied-à-terre that feels more intimate than a standard hotel room. The high-end touches are there without feeling stuffy, and the neighborhood gives you that perfect balance of being in the center of everything while still having quiet moments. It’s the sort of place where you can grab fresh bread from a local bakery in the morning and feel like you actually live in this beautiful city, even if it’s just for a few days.

Visitors often choose Prague apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent Bohemian capital.

Walking distance to the center of the town square, spacious with two terraces.

What could be improved: The air conditioner wasn't working, and the room wasn't ready on time.

It's tucked away in a quiet area but also close within walking distance to everything you want to see or do.

What could be improved: Lots of stairs to carry luggage up.

Great appartement with wonderful roof terrace, perfect and calm location for tourism, good communication with the owners/managers, recommended

What could be improved: No elevator and the flat is in the highest floor (not so great with big luggages that we had)
