Accordion Boutique Hotel & Premium Suites Overview
You know what struck me first about the Accordion? It’s tucked away on Záhřebská street in this quiet residential pocket of Vinohrady that most tourists never find – which is honestly part of its charm. I mean, you’re still only about fifteen minutes from Old Town Square, but you get to experience Prague like an actual person lives here, not just visits it. The building itself has this understated elegance that feels very Prague – not flashy, just quietly sophisticated in that Central European way.
The rooms are where this place really shines, and I get why it’s pulling a 9.8 rating. The suites (definitely spring for one if you can) have these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that actually open – you’d be surprised how rare that is in boutique hotels these days. The design hits that sweet spot between historical character and modern comfort without trying too hard to be Instagram-worthy. What I loved was the attention to small details: proper blackout curtains that actually work, a coffee setup that doesn’t involve those awful pod machines, and bathrooms with decent water pressure. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right rather than just going through the motions, which you notice immediately when they remember your name or actually listen when you ask for restaurant recommendations.
The location grows on you the longer you stay. Sure, you’re not stumbling out your front door onto Wenceslas Square, but honestly that’s a good thing – you get proper sleep here. There’s a lovely little park called Riegrovy sady about ten minutes away where locals go to drink beer and watch the sunset over the city (seriously, don’t miss this), and the neighborhood has these fantastic pubs and restaurants that haven’t been completely overrun by tour groups yet. The tram connections are actually better than you’d expect – the Náměstí Míru station gets you pretty much anywhere you want to go, and there’s something satisfying about riding the tram like you belong here rather than just passing through. I’ll be honest, the walk to the major sights isn’t nothing, but Prague is a walking city anyway, and you’ll discover streets and squares you’d never find otherwise. Plus, after a long day of sightseeing, coming back to Záhřebská feels like returning to your actual Prague apartment rather than just another hotel room in the tourist zone.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Very good neighbourhood, lots of cafe and placrs to eat around!Fnatic_shank from Netherlands – 1 April 2025 (10/10)
It was hands down one of the best stays. It's in a very good location, 5 mins walk to the tram and several eateries, and just 20 mins walk from the centre.
Now, I am impressed from the beginning, the building itself is quite modern and well maintained, the passcode based door locks are a great addition. The room was cozy and the decor was quite fancy given the price. Really loved the minor details, Bluetooth speakers, big tv, all the essential kitchenware and appliances. All these things really made us enjoy the stay.
Bonus points, to the host for being kind and super friendly. I even made a special request for a cake and he ensured the best cake be delivered in the room before we check-in. It was extremely delicious and I'm thankful to him for settling the payments once we got settled in.
Honestly saying, my wife and I have been spoilt by this wonderful stay and I definitely recommend it and would like to stay here again 🙂Jordaan from United Kingdom – 31 March 2025 (10/10)
The apartment itself was of a very high spec – lots of detail paid to the decor etc. The location was PERFECT. Venohrady is a beautiful location, 20 mins from Old Town Prague. The host was very helpful.
What could be improved: Nothing really 🙂Oleksandr from Ukraine – 28 March 2025 (10/10)
I really enjoy staying in Accordion Apartments because they offer comfort, convenience and a relaxing atmosphere. The clean, well-prepared rooms, fresh linens, and excellent service make the experience enjoyable.

Good location, nice apartment, nice building, ps5, marshall dynamics
What could be improved: Wife was poor on the second floorRuslana from Poland – 23 March 2025 (9/10)
Very pleasant and helpful manager, was always available when needed. Nice design. Well equipped kitchen, nice smart tv, very quiet at night. Comfortable bed with big pillows. Nespresso machine with capsules.
What could be improved: Only small details: radiator in the bathroom didn’t get warm, shower doors were not closing completely.
Ah, and there was no place to hang the coats, no rack or hooks. Only shelves and hangers that we hanged on the closet door.
Check-in at 15 and check out at 10 is not great for me, as for earlier or later check-in you have to pay even if the room is ready.Lisa from Germany – 22 March 2025 (10/10)
Super central location, it takes about 20 minutes by foot to Pragues Old Town. Lots of cafe and restaurant options nearby the accommodation. Staff was super friendly and checked in regularly. The room and the entire building was spotless clean. Could hear the upstairs neighbours one night, I assume it was the bass of the TV. Regardless of that, I’ll definitely come back if I return to Prague!
Christian from Belgium – 22 March 2025 (10/10)
Good facilities (i.e. washing machine, dish washer, Nespresso machine, toaster), and tasteful decorated room.
Located near public transport.
Exterior door and room access with code.
No outside noise with double windows.
Attentive staff.
What could be improved: Would be nice to have the shower products on a shelf or on the wall.Bartosz from Germany – 21 March 2025 (10/10)
Well located, very modern and clean apartment. It is actually an apartment-hotel with an easy contact-less check-in, very convenient access with code to the building and to the apartments. For those travelling by car, there is an optional parking space with charging possibility for the electric cars – it is not cheapest option, but you need to know that parking in Prague is generally expensive 🙂
