The tram connections are actually better than you’d expect – the Náměstí Míru station gets you pretty much anywhere you want to go, and there’s something satisfying about riding the tram like you belong here rather than just passing through. I’ll be honest, the walk to the major sights isn’t nothing, but Prague is a walking city anyway, and you’ll discover streets and squares you’d never find otherwise. Plus, after a long day of sightseeing, coming back to Záhřebská feels like returning to your actual Prague apartment rather than just another hotel room in the tourist zone.
