You know what struck me first about Absolutum Wellness Hotel? The name sounds almost pretentious, but honestly, they’re not overselling it. This place sits on Jablonskeho street in Prague 7 – and I mean, if you’re familiar with this part of the city, you know it’s not exactly the tourist circus of Old Town, which is actually perfect. You’re still close enough to walk to the center (maybe 20 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll), but you’re in this quieter residential area where actual Praguers live.

The whole wellness angle isn’t just marketing fluff either. I stayed here during a particularly stressful work trip last spring, and honestly, the spa facilities actually helped me decompress. The massage rooms have this subtle lavender scent that doesn’t hit you over the head, and the staff – well, they seem to genuinely care about whether you’re relaxed rather than just going through the motions. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place, nothing groundbreaking but thoughtfully designed. Mine had this huge window overlooking a quiet courtyard, and I mean huge – like floor-to-ceiling stuff that made the space feel twice as big. The beds are properly firm (thank god, because so many hotels go too soft), and the bathroom actually had decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on in Prague’s older buildings.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the whole “wellness hotel” concept without making it feel forced. You’re not constantly bombarded with green smoothies and meditation reminders – it’s more subtle than that. The breakfast area has this relaxed vibe where people actually linger over coffee instead of rushing off, and there’s a small fitness center that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Prague will tell you is basically a minor miracle. The neighborhood itself is pretty genuine – there’s a great little bakery two blocks down that opens ridiculously early, and you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning rather than tour groups snapping selfies. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English without that slightly condescending tone you sometimes get at tourist-heavy places. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I needed to actually get some work done – it strikes that sweet spot between being comfortable and professional without feeling sterile.

  Very clean hotel. The restaurant had really good food and the staff was very nice. They also had a sauna on site which was very relaxing .Also, I loved the heating flooring in the bathroom. Our dog was very welcome here. Also was not too far from downtown and we walked from the hotel. The parking lot was also safe and we were able to park the car for two days.

  It was just an overnight stay, but it was perfect. It was booked literally short term. I first booked in a different hotel, where I asked nicely about the possibility to check in earlier but how they answered wasn't really so friendly. Not even providing alternatives. Of course I know that it depends on the availability of a room, but how you compose a response of a customer inquiry matters a lot. In short I cancelled it.
  
  
  Fortunately I found this Absolutum hotel, which actually is perfect in terms of location, cleanliness and all. Most especially how accommodating, how flexible the management overall. After booking, I immediately asked for an early check in, and they politely responded that they would check possibilities and yes it worked PERFECTLY WELL.

  What could be improved: I read that the sauna would be free, but I had to pay €10 per person. There was no free drinking water available, so you had to pay a lot for a bottle of water. The changing rooms were very small, and if it was busy and you only had 90 minutes, you had to wait for three people to leave before you could enter
