A. V. Pension Praha

Overview

A. V. Pension Praha is a small, family-run guesthouse (bed and breakfast) at Malebná 1172/75, 149 00 Prague 4, in a residential district a few minutes’ walk from Chodov metro station.

Location

Chodov station is on metro line C (red), which runs directly to Muzeum at the top of Wenceslas Square, Hlavní nádraží (Main Railway Station) and Florenc. The pension is well outside the historic centre: Wenceslas Square is about 7 km away and Old Town Square about 8 km, so sightseeing days start with a metro ride rather than a walk. Vyšehrad is about 6.4 km away and Václav Havel Airport about 18 km.

The property

There are eight guest rooms, including one suite, and each overlooks the surrounding gardens. Rooms have a minibar, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer and an electric kettle with tea and coffee. The attic rooms are air-conditioned. A cold buffet breakfast is served, and in summer guests can use the garden swimming pool and terrace. Free street parking is available in front of the building.

Good to know

• Check-in is after 17:00 and check-out before 10:00, according to booking listings; confirm arrival times with the owners.
• Only the attic rooms have air conditioning.
• Parking is on the street, not in a private car park.

Suits travellers with a car or those happy to use the metro who want a small family-run guesthouse with a garden pool, away from the city centre.
