Honestly, when I first saw this place listed as an “apartment” on Štěpánská, I wasn’t sure what to expect – but stepping into this rooftop space completely changed my perspective on Prague accommodations. You know what strikes you immediately? The sheer amount of light flooding through those windows, and I mean, you’re basically living above the city here with views that make you forget you’re in the middle of everything.

The location is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the tourist chaos. Štěpánská runs parallel to Wenceslas Square, so you’re literally a two-minute walk from all that action, but far enough up (we’re talking rooftop level) that you don’t hear the street noise at night. I was worried about that honestly – Prague’s city center can get pretty loud, especially during summer when everyone’s wandering around until 2 AM. But this place stays surprisingly quiet. The six bedrooms are spread out really well too, so even with a full group, you’re not stepping on each other. Three and a half baths means no morning lineup situation, which… if you’ve ever traveled with six people, you know that’s a game changer.

What I really appreciated – and this might sound small but it matters – is that they actually have proper AC throughout. Prague summers can be brutal, and a lot of older buildings just throw in a window unit and call it good. This isn’t that. The whole place stays comfortable, and the rooftop position means you get decent cross-breezes when you open the windows in the evenings. The kitchen setup works if you want to grab ingredients from the Tesco down on Národní and cook instead of eating out every meal (which, let’s be honest, gets expensive fast in this area). Plus there’s something nice about having coffee on what’s essentially your own rooftop terrace while looking out over the red tile roofs toward the castle – I mean, that’s not something you get in most hotel rooms. The walk to Old Town Square takes maybe eight minutes, and you can cut through some of the quieter side streets that most tourists miss. Metro access is super easy too – Muzeum station is right there, so getting to other parts of the city or back from the airport is straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again, especially with a group where everyone wants their own space but doesn’t want to be scattered across different hotels.
