2 bedrooms apt near Wenceslas sq Overview
You know what struck me first about this place? Walking up Jindřišská street, you’re literally three minutes from all the Wenceslas Square chaos, but the moment you step inside, it’s like someone hit the mute button on Prague’s tourist madness. I mean, you can still hear the trams rumbling by – it’s Prague, that’s just part of the soundtrack – but it’s not the overwhelming noise you’d expect being this close to the action.
The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives here, not like those sterile hotel boxes where everything’s bolted down and painted beige. Two proper bedrooms, which honestly is rare for this area without paying through the nose. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco down on Václavské náměstí instead of eating restaurant food every meal (your wallet will thank you, trust me). What I really appreciated were the little touches – decent coffee in the cupboard, extra blankets that don’t feel like cardboard, windows that actually open properly so you can get some fresh air. The bathroom’s modern without being flashy, and the shower pressure is solid, which… look, after walking around Prague’s cobblestones all day, that matters more than you think.
Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can stumble back from the Old Town in fifteen minutes, but you’re also perfectly positioned for the stuff tourists often miss. There’s this little wine bar called Bokovka just around the corner that locals actually go to – not some tourist trap charging ten euros for terrible goulash. And honestly, having Náměstí Míru metro station so close means you can easily get out to Vinohrady or Karlín when you want to see how actual Praguers live. The building itself is one of those gorgeous Art Nouveau places that makes you stop and look up at the details, though fair warning – there’s no elevator, so if you’re on the upper floors and traveling heavy, that’s something to consider. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and the 8.6 rating makes total sense. It’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful and comfortable, and the host was quick to respond when I had questions about the heater. For the price point and location, it’s exactly what you want – a real place to stay while you explore one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, without feeling like you’re sleeping in a corporate hotel room that could be anywhere in the world.
Prague hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town Square to elegant castle-view hotels and modern accommodations near Wenceslas Square.

Reviews of 2 bedrooms apt near Wenceslas sq
Superb – Franka from Austria – 3 June 2025 (9/10)
Great and huge appartment right at the main square
What could be improved: 4th floor withour elevator 😁Comfortable apartment, centrally located in Prague! – Nicole from Canada – 12 December 2024 (9/10)
Centrally located near the train station, shops, squares, Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, etc.
Spacious and quiet on the top floor.
What could be improved: It’s on the 4th floor with no elevator and we didn’t get any help to bring our suitcases up. (We were traveling for 2 weeks, so we had big suitcases.) My friend injured her back.
The bed in the second bedroom was not made, there was no sheets, etc. I had to negotiate to get them. Why rent 2 bedrooms if you need 1 bed? 2 towels for 5 days, no hand towel in kitchen. The cleaning lady brought some. We’ve been renting 2 bedroom apartments and never had that problem. Usually the 2 rooms have everything for 4 persons even if there are only 2.Superb – Ruth from Australia – 24 April 2024 (9/10)
good space in a convenient location
What could be improved: the five flights of stairs are not for the faint hearted!Love Prague, beautiful city- ok apartment. – Sharon from Australia – 13 July 2025 (7/10)
The location was good with an easy walk to may of the great places of interest in the Old and New Town areas. Apartment had all the essentials for a week’s stay.
What could be improved: There is no lift and the apartment is on the fourth floor (95) steps – exhausting and very difficult with luggage. There is no air conditioning which, in old buildings is understandable but the inclusion of a couple of fans would be appreciated. Would not recommend for older or anyone with any mobility issues.Perfekt für ein Wochenende – Yukitaka from Germany – 11 June 2025 (8/10)
